Dermal Filler vs Threadlifting Comparison

Dermal fillers are very popular for tackling the signs of ageing, but when the issue progresses from lines and wrinkles and starts to include saggy loose skin, you may be tempted by the idea of a thread lift.

That’s the suggestion behind thread lifting – to rejuvenate your appearance by ‘lifting’ the facial tissues to a more youthful position.

However, this is not as straightforward as it might sound.

Dr John Tanqueray at Mulberry House Clinic and Laser Centre has recently made the decision to stop offering threadlifts as in his words:

“…the numbers of people we see who are really suitable for a threadlift is very small, and in our view the potential benefit from threadlifts is quite minor.”

Thread lifts are not the miracle cure for ageing that they might sound. They can be expensive, look unnatural in the short term and generally not provide such a good result as can be achieved using other treatments.

We have prepared a comparison of dermal fillers vs thread lift.
