Mulberry House Clinic are fully registered with the CQC (Care Quality Commission). This independent body will check that we meet and maintain the high standards we have always followed in our practice.
This is a voluntary registration that many skin clinics choose not to undertake. However, at Mulberry House, standards of care and service are paramount and this is one way in which we are able to measure our success.
The CQC said that:
All standards found to be met following our assessment of the service during registration
Regular inspections are carried out by the CQC and we will share these results when available. The CQC assess the quality and safety of care from up to 16 key standards as follows:
- Respecting and involving people who use services
- Consent to care and treatment
- Care and welfare of people who use services
- Meeting nutritional needs (where relevant)
- Cooperating with other providers
- Cleanliness and infection control
- Management of medicines
- Safety and suitability of premises
- Safety, availability and suitability of equipment
- Requirements relating to workers
- Supporting workers
- Assessing and monitoring the quality of service
