“A couple of years ago, I started to become aware my complexion was changing. It was very flushed, it would sting and feel very sensitive and I started to develop spots. I was told I had developed rosacea. At first I tried to deny it to myself but the evidence was quite literally in front of my face. I felt very self-conscious and my confidence plummeted. I would talk to people worrying and feeling embarrassed about how red my face must look and how hot it felt.
“My doctor informed me the only effective treatment was a low dose of antibiotics but to be taken continuously. There was no way I wanted to be on antibiotics long term so I started investigating other avenues. These consisted of topical lotions, sprays, foundation concealers, and even diet as I restricted things like fruit and processed sugar as I tried to get to the bottom of what was causing this heat and spots.
“I then randomly had a conversation with someone whilst getting my nails done who had had very similar symptoms but who now had beautiful skin. I obviously wanted to know how and she told me about Mulberry Clinic and highly recommended them. I thought I’d give it a try, my skin condition was really taking its toll and making me so miserable that I had nothing to lose.
“When I visited the clinic it was so warm and welcoming I immediately felt at ease. John examined my skin and was very reassuring, and told me he was confident this could be treated. Those words were wonderful to hear and the fact he was a GP increased my trust. I would be using a skincare range morning and night that would strip my skin of its oiliness which seemingly was a big contributing factor to the rosacea. No one had ever told me that before, in fact the information I got previously was my skin had become over sensitive and I had to avoid anything that could aggravate it so only hypo-allergenic products, but I trusted him. Within three weeks the difference was apparent and within five weeks it was startling. My redness had disappeared, I had no more spots, sensitivity or heat and my skin felt soft, supple and became something I could be proud of again and not want to constantly hide.
“I’ve continued with the skincare regime, I wouldn’t be without it now and just feel so grateful that I stumbled upon Mulberry House and the team there so I was able to get rid of a skin condition that I found really difficult to manage and which had such a negative effect on my confidence.
“It has made a huge difference to me, so much so that on many days I feel I don’t need to wear foundation – I would highly recommend it if you too are experiencing rosacea.”
“At Mulberry House Clinic & Laser Centre, we see a lot of people who are understandably sceptical whether skincare can make a big difference, even though we know that if you are willing to take that leap of faith you’ll be pleased you did.”
“We’re delighted that one our patients has kindly offered to share her experience of using ZO for her rosacea and pigmentation problems. Her photographs say it all, showing the dramatic improvement she saw after just 5 weeks of using the creams.”
“Rosacea is widely held to be a difficult or even impossible problem to treat successfully, and from my experience treatments available on the NHS are only mildly effective at best.”
“We can safely say that since using the ZO system for treating rosacea over the last couple of years every person we have treated has seen a great improvement – a 100% record.”
