Aesthetics Awards 2017 Finalist
LED skin treatment Dermalux has been shortlisted as one of the finalists at the 2017 Aesthetics Awards in the new category ‘Energy Treatment of the Year’
This new category celebrates the best and latest energy-based skin treatments available in the UK today.
The Aesthetics Awards category judging criteria explains further:
“This award will be given to the manufacturer or supplier considered to offer the best energy treatment in the UK.
“The category is open to any energy-based treatment offered in UK medical aesthetic clinics.
“Finalists demonstrate a wide range of indications, evidence of good safety and efficacy, optimum duration and tangible benefits over similar treatments on the market.”
Dermalux’s award entry explains the advantages of the LED skin therapy system:
“Many traditional aesthetic procedures including energy based treatments such as Laser, IPL, Radio Frequency and Ultrasound for example, work on the principle of creating ‘controlled trauma’ to trigger change in the skin however, these treatments also carry a higher risk of adverse response, down time and level of discomfort.
“With a shift towards safe, non-invasive treatments, LED Phototherapy offers an effective, pain free solution as both a standalone treatment and easily integrates with other procedures to advance and accelerate treatment results and minimise downtime. Dermalux does not compete with any other treatment in the clinic. It is an essential skin care too that offers unique and complimentary benefits to maximise the results of every client skin care programme and all within one device.
“LED Phototherapy has long been recognised for its regenerating and anti-inflammatory properties and does not transfer heat, create trauma or use chemicals to promote change in the skin. With one of the highest safety treatment profiles, Dermalux is beneficial for all skin types, all skin conditions and all ages, all year round.”
