Throughout his career, he has observed significant advancements in technologies and products, which are continuously evolving.
In his first newsletter of 2025, Dr Tanqueray shares his predictions on skin and aesthetics trends for the coming year with patients and followers.
His top prediction is:
More emphasis on skin quality
Dr Tanqueray explains:
“The idea of “ageing well” as opposed to looking younger at any cost is now well-established, and we have always looked for subtle results that look natural. A large part of ageing well is to not worry too much about the odd line or wrinkle but to aim for good skin quality that in turn appears bright, smooth and even-coloured.
“We now have more choices than ever to help achieve these aims, and more importantly a range of options that does not require much inconvenience or downtime.
“There is nothing more gratifying than the instant freshening effect from dermal fillers, but to achieve skin quality improvements we need to be more patient.
“Skin quality treatment can be working away in the background with just one or two treatments per year.
“As one of the key rejuvenation treatments you may want to look at our new information page on Radiesse Dilute and Hyperdilute.”
Radiesse Dilute and Hyperdilute
RADIESSE® is a dermal filler that is commonly used to add volume and smooth wrinkles in the skin.
The dilution and hyperdilution of Radiesse refer to the process of mixing the filler with a solution, to make it more viscous. Not only does this make it easier to inject and distribute in the targeted area, but it actually changes the properties of RADIESSE®, opening up new treatment possibilities.
- Dilute Radiesse is a more diluted form of the filler that is often used for treating fine lines and wrinkles. It has more subtle volumisation than pure RADIESSE® dermal filler and additionally helps to boost skin quality
- Hyperdilute Radiesse has no volumising properties, it is a collagen booster that is often used for overall skin improvement. This technique allows for subtle and natural-looking results.
