Research has shown excellent results for New BELOTERO® REVIVE Injectable Skin Revitaliser, with 100% of patients showing improved aesthetic results at week 12.
BELOTERO® REVIVE is the latest new product at Northamptonshire-based Mulberry House Clinic.
Unlike volumising injectable treatments, the product was designed primarily to improve skin quality by boosting hydration, elasticity and firmness. In turn, this works to address the appearance of fine lines in a way that looks entirely fresh and natural. BELOTERO® REVIVE works as a beauty booster for a more youthful radiance.
BELOVE Research
Prior to launching BELOTERO® REVIVE, manufacturers Merz carried out research on the product which shows highly effective results:
- 100% of patients showed improved aesthetic results at week 12
- 71% still showed improvement 36 weeks after treatment
- Up to 36 weeks improved skin hydration and reduced skin redness
- Skin elasticity increased by at least 25% up to week 28
- Skin firmness improved significantly up to 24 weeks
- Over 80% of patients were satisfied with the treatment at week 24
- Over 60% were highly satisfied with skin softness/suppleness as well as the refreshing effect of the product up to 28 weeks after treatment
- 90% of patients would recommend Belotero® Revive to friends
- 100% satisfaction with clinical performance including gel distribution, positioning in the skin, moisturising, ease of injection and skin texture (elasticity and fine wrinkles smoothening in comparison to competitors)
In this study, BELOTERO® REVIVE was injected into the lower cheek area of the face. Patients were monitored over a 36 week period.
Preventative or Early Intervention Treatment
The emphasis on hydration and skin improvement makes BELOTERO® REVIVE suitable for younger clients as well as those with more developed signs of ageing.
The product can be used to improve the skin and slow the progression of facial changes over time.
It is especially useful for tackling sun damage. The Merz study report states:
“Loss of dermal elasticity is the main feature of an early onset of photo-damaged skin. Treatment significantly improved dermal gross elasticity from baseline to week 9 and week 12. Gross elasticity remained increased up to week 28”
The full BELOVE Study was entitled “Facial skin revitalization with CPM®-HA20G: an effective and safe early intervention treatment” and was published in the Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology Journal. Research was sponsored by Merz Pharmaceuticals GmbH.
