These work by exfoliating the top layer of skin, revealing brighter and newer layers beneath for an instant glow without downtime or peeling to worry about. The light peels and microdermabrasion treatments aren’t only about a quick win though, as they also work well in stimulating and promoting renewal of skin cells, which provides a longer term benefit in maintaining radiant, fresh and healthy skin.

Peels vs Microdermabrasion
While they both work in exfoliating the skin, there are differences:
- Facial peels use a chemical agent to break down the outer layer of dead skin cells as well as buildup of grime, sweat and oil. Don’t be put off by stories of aggressive peels. Our light peels are left on for a short time and are very well tolerated
- Microdermabrasion uses a mechanical device which whisks away the outer layer, revealing brighter, newer skin beneath and leaving the skin feeling fresh, soft and smooth
The two treatments may both be about ‘exfoliation’, but because they work in a slightly different way, you may find that one is more beneficial or appropriate than the other.
