Experts are noticing a new trend in anti-ageing treatments, with more interest in treatments to improve wrinkles around the eyes and forehead lines.
Wearing masks has become commonplace in the last few weeks, but the necessity to cover up the lower face has meant that additional attention is now focused on the upper face which remains exposed.
This has had a direct impact on makeup sales and trends. Lipstick sales have declined as the product would be concealed by a mask and would also rub off. Conversely, sales of eye shadow and brow products have increased according to industry data.
Interest in non-surgical treatments reflect the same trend.

By comparison, interest in lip filler, while still showing strong growth, was less dramatic at +64%, as consumers demonstrate that they are more interested in improving the visible area.
