A Cautious Return to Normality!
We are really pleased to have been making a cautious start back, and now feel that the measures we have in place allow us to provide an environment that is as safe as it possibly can be for our patients to return to their skin treatments.
We are really looking forward to catching up and to feel some sense of normality returning.
If you would like an appointment for any injectable treatment you are welcome to book an appointment. If you feel that an online discussion would be helpful before we see you in person we’ll be happy to arrange this using WhatsApp, FaceTime, Skype or a simple phone call.
Coronavirus Precautions
What are we doing to make your visit as safe as possible?
We all need to be aware that for the time being any contact with others brings a possible risk of contracting Covid-19. We believe that the measures we are taking will mean this risk is very small, but we cannot guarantee to eliminate all risk. All of us will have to make balanced choices about what is important to us and how we feel about possible risks from any contact outside our own households.
We can assure you that we are taking all the steps we reasonably can to make your visit to us as safe as possible.
Please read the following prior to any appointment.
What we need you to do
If you have any of the following please don’t attend – ring us and defer your appointment:
- Known coronavirus infection in the last 14 days
- Any reason to suspect that you are or may be infected – symptoms of fever, cough, runny nose in the last 14 days, shortness of breath, sore throat
- Any contact with anyone who is infected
- You are pregnant
- You have returned from travel abroad in the last 2 weeks
Think carefully about how important this appointment is to you, and whether you accept the additional risk of an appointment, especially if:
- You have any risk factors such as heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, raised blood pressure, immune suppression, current cancer treatment
- You are over 70
- You have vulnerable people in your household or family
Optional Remote Pre-Consultation
If you are in any doubt, or if you feel that a video or phone conversation would be helpful prior to your attendance please let us know and we will be happy to arrange this with you. These can be done via phone, Skype, FaceTime, Whatsapp.
When You Come For Your Appointment
- Please wait in your car until we come to greet you or text to let you know that the clinic is ready for you.
- Please arrive unaccompanied
- Come without make-up and limit any personal possessions you bring to the bare minimum
- Use hand sanitiser provided when you arrive and as you leave
- You will be offered a face covering
- We will check your temperature with a no-contact thermometer
- Maintain a 2m distance from anyone (except where this is unavoidable in the course of your treatment)
What We Will Be Doing
Appointment times will be made longer to allow for the following measures:
- We will only have one person within the clinic at a time
- The treatment room will be thoroughly ventilated before and after your appointment
- Relevant surfaces and items will be disinfected before and after your appointment
In addition:
- A deep clean of the treatment room will take place at the end of each day
- We will be wearing appropriate protective clothing for your and our own protection
Payment
- The good news is that we will not be changing our treatment costs in spite of all the above.
- You are welcome to make payment by BACS, but payment by card will still be possible, and you do not need to use the keypad if you prefer not to
Unavailable Treatments
Please note that in line with current advice we are not yet carrying out the following treatments:
- Laser
- IPL
- Tixel
- Facial peels
- Microdermabrasion
