“The situation with Covid-19 has been evolving day by day, and our views on what we should be doing have been changing with it.
“Rather than delay and risk exposing you, ourselves and the wider community to additional risk we have decided to close our doors with immediate effect.
“To some of you this may seem premature, especially when we see other clinics continue to operate “as normal”. We would rather be proactive in limiting person-to-person contact as per best advice.
“Taking official and unofficial advice into account it seems that growth in illness is going to ramp up significantly over the next 2-3 weeks and the NHS will be put under overwhelming pressure. This is a time when doing anything that helps us stay healthy will be important to us all.
“We want you to stay safe and well, and hope you will be able to enjoy time with your immediate family, and maybe find new avenues to keep you interested and entertained.
“In the meantime please be sure to sign up to our newsletter – use our quick subscribe form – so we can keep you informed of developments. We won’t be bombarding you with emails, but it will be a channel we can use to keep you up to date, once a month maximum.
“We had an exciting new treatment lined up to start in the next month or two, but this will now have to wait.

“A more aggressive regime is not essential but will deliver better and quicker results, and maybe now is a time that you can manage some redness and flaking for a few weeks.
