John expects to see the evolution of more sophisticated treatment programmes, which he calls ‘multi-modal’.
Dr Tanqueray explains:
“I think we will be hearing the term “multi-modal” much more.
“Multi-modal treatments involve using a combination of treatments that together deliver better results than we would achieve by just using one or two.
“This trend has already started, but as we see the benefits of combining a range of treatments in one individual I think it will only increase.
“For example Botox and fillers can provide a great foundation for anyone, but if we can add in treatments that improve skin quality (skincare, collagen stimulation, ultrasound) tighten and lift (ultrasound), reduce redness and pigmentation (IPL, laser, skincare) and also make skin appear brighter (IPL, laser, injectable skin boosters, skincare) we are then going to potentially achieve spectacular results that still look very natural.”
