Mulberry House — At the Heart of the Notswolds
Some call it the Notswolds — shorthand for the stretch of country-house England that runs through Rutland, Stamford, Oundle and Northamptonshire's private manors, built the same way the Cotswolds was, just a little further north and a good deal less crowded. Mulberry House sits inside it, at Great Addington Manor, and we think that is exactly where a doctor-led aesthetic clinic belongs.

What is the Notswolds?
The Notswolds is a newer name for an old landscape: the belt of English country houses, private estates and market towns that spreads north from the Cotswolds without ever being part of them — hence the name, short for "not the Cotswolds." Rutland sits at its spiritual heart, with Stamford, Melton Mowbray, Oundle and Northamptonshire's private manor houses making up the rest of its map.
It is the same kind of England the Cotswolds built its reputation on - stone villages, working estates, a slower pace - just quieter, and considerably less discovered.
The best clinic in the Notswolds
We say that deliberately, and we mean it as a standard to hold ourselves to rather than a slogan. Mulberry House has practised doctor-led aesthetic medicine from Great Addington Manor since 2003 - over 20 years of unhurried, consultation-led care, led by Dr John Tanqueray, a Cambridge-trained doctor, BCAM member and national trainer for several of the devices and treatments we use every day.
Being part of the Notswolds shapes how we work as much as where we are: private estate parking instead of a high-street car park, a pace that matches the landscape around it, and a clinical team who treat you the same way whether you have come from the next village or from Northampton, Kettering or Wellingborough.
