Collagen stimulating treatments work differently from traditional dermal fillers. Rather than providing immediate volume, they signal the body to produce new collagen — the structural protein responsible for skin firmness, elasticity and thickness. The results emerge gradually, look entirely natural, and in many cases outlast conventional filler by a considerable margin.

Traditional fillers compensate for this by adding volume. Collagen stimulators take a different approach: they prompt the body to regenerate the structures it has lost. For the right patient, this is a fundamentally more satisfying solution.

Radiesse® Dilute & Hyperdilute — In its diluted and hyperdiluted forms, Radiesse® becomes a powerful collagen stimulator, used to improve skin quality, firmness and texture across the face and neck. Focused on the skin itself rather than facial architecture.

Gouri® — A next-generation PCL collagen stimulator in fully liquid form. Unlike particle-based collagen stimulators, Gouri® distributes evenly through the tissue, making it particularly effective for global facial skin tightening and quality improvement.

Sculptra® — A poly-L-lactic acid injectable that stimulates collagen production gradually over a series of treatments. The results are subtle and progressive, building over three to six months. Sculptra® is the treatment of choice for patients with significant volume loss across the face, or those seeking a long-term maintenance approach. Results can last up to two years.

Collagen stimulating treatments are particularly well suited to patients who are noticing gradual changes in skin firmness or texture rather than specific lines or folds, who want results that look natural and develop over time, or who are looking for a longer-term approach to facial maintenance.

They are also worth considering if you have tried fillers and found the results satisfying but short-lived, or if you want to improve skin quality across broader areas — face, neck, décolletage — rather than target individual concerns.

They are not the right first choice if the primary concern is a specific deep fold or a feature that requires structural reshaping — for those concerns, traditional filler may be more appropriate. The two approaches can often be combined.
