Our Philosophy
Medicine first. Aesthetics second.
Mulberry House was founded as a doctor-led clinic, and that distinction matters more today than ever.
Dr John Tanqueray brings over two decades of clinical experience to every consultation. That means treatments are considered in full — your medical history, your skin, your face as a whole, the realistic outcome, and what happens over time. Not just the treatment you came in asking about.
In an industry that has expanded rapidly and unevenly, we remain grounded in clinical rigour. We prescribe where prescription is required. We advise against treatments when they are not right for you. And we never recommend something simply because it is popular.
That is what doctor-led means to us.
Subtle is not a compromise. It is the point.
We are not the clinic for dramatic transformations or trend-led treatments. We are the clinic for patients who want to look like themselves — rested, healthy, at their best — without anyone being able to say exactly why.
This requires more skill, not less. Understanding how a face ages. Knowing when to treat and when to wait. Choosing the right combination of treatments rather than the most obvious one. And being honest when the answer is simply: not yet, or not this.
Our results speak in a register most people will never hear. That is precisely what our patients ask of us.
We think in years, not appointments.
The patients we value most are the ones who come back. Not because we depend on repeat business, but because long-term relationships allow us to care for skin properly — tracking changes over time, adapting as needs evolve, building a picture that a single appointment can never give.
This is why our consultations are unhurried. Why we ask questions others might not. And why we will always tell you what we genuinely think, even when that means suggesting less rather than more.
Good aesthetic medicine is cumulative. It rewards patience, consistency, and trust. We are here for all of it.
A clinic that feels like it should.
In 2026, Mulberry House moved to Great Addington Manor, a setting that reflects everything we have always believed about how patients deserve to be received.
Quiet. Private. Unhurried. A place where the experience of coming in feels considered from the moment you arrive, not just from the moment treatment begins.
We think the environment matters. The way a patient feels when they walk through the door shapes how they feel about everything that follows.
We welcome anyone who wants to feel genuinely cared for.
Our patients arrive from all kinds of starting points. Some are exploring aesthetic medicine for the first time and want to understand their options without pressure. Some have had experiences elsewhere that fell short — of their expectations, or of what good medicine should look like. Others have been with us for over a decade, returning because they trust what we do and how we do it.
What they share is a desire for honesty. For care that is unhurried. For results that make them feel quietly confident rather than obviously altered.
If that sounds like what you are looking for, we would be very glad to meet you.
Begin with a consultation.
Every patient journey at Mulberry House starts the same way — with a conversation. No pressure, no obligation. Just an honest assessment of where you are and what might be possible.
