Most collagen stimulators work by placing particles in the skin that gradually trigger a response. Gouri® does something different — and that difference matters.
Gouri® is a fully liquid PCL injectable that distributes evenly through the tissue, producing consistent, broad-area collagen stimulation. It adds no volume and reshapes nothing. What it does is encourage the skin to rebuild its own structural collagen — improvement that looks entirely natural precisely because it is.
A next-generation PCL collagen stimulator.
Gouri® uses polycaprolactone, a biodegradable medical polymer with a long and well-established safety record. In aesthetics, PCL has been used as a collagen stimulator for many years. Gouri®’s innovation is delivering it in fully solubilised, liquid form rather than as a suspension of microspheres.
This matters clinically. Particle-based collagen stimulators carry a small but known risk of localised nodule formation if product is unevenly distributed. Gouri®’s liquid formulation eliminates this risk and allows it to be placed precisely, spreading smoothly through the dermal and subdermal layers.
The mechanism is straightforward: PCL activates fibroblasts — the cells responsible for collagen production — triggering the gradual formation of new collagen within the skin. Gouri® itself biodegrades naturally over time, leaving only the collagen it has stimulated behind.

Gouri® is a treatment for skin quality and structure, not facial shape. It works across broader areas rather than targeting individual lines or folds, which makes it particularly effective for general facial laxity and loss of firmness, crepiness or thinning skin across the cheeks, lower face and neck, and improving skin density and resilience ahead of, or alongside, other treatments.
It is often chosen by patients who feel their skin has changed in quality — that it looks and feels less robust — rather than patients focused on a specific line or feature.

From consultation to results.
Gouri® is delivered by cannula in most cases, allowing smooth and even placement across the treatment area. The treatment takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Some mild redness, swelling or tenderness at entry points is normal and typically settles within a few days.
Results are not immediate — this is an important distinction for patients considering Gouri® for the first time. Early improvements in skin quality may be noticeable within a few weeks, but the firming and tightening effect develops as new collagen is produced and matures, over roughly four to eight weeks.
Most patients require a single treatment, with maintenance considered at around 12 months depending on skin condition and response. Because Gouri® stimulates the patient’s own collagen rather than adding anything permanent, results are gradual, natural in appearance, and build on the skin’s genuine biology.
Choosing the right collagen stimulator.
Gouri®, Sculptra® and Radiesse® Dilute are all collagen stimulators, but they suit different patients and different goals. Gouri® works best for patients concerned about generalised skin laxity and quality rather than volume loss, those who prefer a single-treatment protocol, and those looking for global facial or neck skin improvement.
Sculptra® may be the better choice where there is significant volume loss alongside quality changes, or where a gradual multi-session protocol is preferred. Radiesse® Dilute is particularly effective for skin quality across the lower face, neck and décolletage.
