Dr John Tanqueray founded Mulberry House Clinic in 2003 and leads its clinical team today. His approach to aesthetic medicine is built on subtlety - restoring what has been lost rather than adding what was never there.

Dr Tanqueray trained in medicine at Cambridge University (MB BChir, 1984) and spent many years as a General Practitioner before leaving the NHS in 2015 to focus entirely on aesthetic medicine - a field he had been developing alongside his GP practice for over a decade.
His particular expertise is the assessment and treatment of the ageing face. The approach he has developed over more than twenty years favours results that patients notice for how well they look, rather than what has been done.
Dr Tanqueray is a trainer for Merz Pharmaceuticals and has trained plastic surgeons, doctors and nurses in botulinum toxin, dermal fillers and prescription skincare on behalf of manufacturers including Allergan, Merz, IBSA and ZO Skin Health. He is one of the most experienced Tixel practitioners in the UK and is involved in clinical education around its use. He oversees all clinical programmes at Mulberry House and conducts the annual skin health reviews for patients on the House Treatment Plan.
