Iovera is the latest treatment using Focused Cold Therapy. It gives immediate results and is the world’s first toxin free dynamic wrinkle treatment. iovera˚ is a class IIa medical device. The manufacturer has already received CE Mark approval for temporary relief of pain and wrinkles as well as FDA clearance for the treatment of peripheral nerves to block pain and general tissue ablation.

How does it work?

iovera^o  treatment uses ‘Cold Focused Therapy’ to essentially ‘freeze’ the nerve, using the body’s natural response to extreme cold to stop the muscles that cause facial wrinkles from contracting.

• small needles deliver nitrous oxide to the nerve for 30 seconds
• the nerve is 'frozen' enough to impair use of the muscle for up to three months
• there is nothing left behind in the body as what is frozen is essentially water

This visibly reduces the appearance of dynamic facial lines as patients can't frown completely. There is still some movement, so the finished effect is very natural, yet wrinkles are dramatically reduced. Treatment results are instant and last up to 3 months.
