The summer has properly given way to autumn now, and October is nearly here.
This month, we are talking about rhythm, about a bespoke approach to how we plan your skin health, and about a new treatment joining us this autumn, NeoGen Plasma.
We see visitors from right across Northamptonshire at Great Addington Manor, many of you travelling to us from Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Rushden and the surrounding villages, so before we get into this month's news, thank you, as ever, for making the journey.
Why Rhythm and Consistency Matter in Anti-Wrinkle Treatment
You will often hear us talking about consistency, and rhythm, when it comes to your skin plan, and in particular your anti-wrinkle treatment. It is a word we return to for good reason. Treatment that is spaced and timed well tends to look more natural, hold for longer, and feel far less like a series of separate visits than one continuous, considered approach to how you age.
It is also why we think about your care less in terms of single appointments, and more as an ongoing plan, one that adjusts as your skin does. Each year brings its own changes, in the seasons, in how your skin behaves, and in what it needs from us, and a good plan is built to move with that rather than stay fixed.
What Does a Bespoke Skin Plan Actually Look Like?
In practice, it means moving away from booking one treatment at a time, and instead looking at your skin as a whole, how it is ageing, what it responds well to, and what you would ultimately like it to look and feel like, then building a plan around that.
It is a genuinely ongoing conversation rather than a fixed course with an end date. Your plan is reviewed and adjusted at each visit, because skin changes with the seasons, with life, and simply with time, and a plan that cannot move with it stops being much use quite quickly.

NeoGen Plasma is joining our advanced skin treatment line-up this autumn, bringing together tightening and skin resurfacing in a single treatment.

Planning Ahead for Winter: Our December and January Closure
For anyone coming in over the next few weeks, your next appointment is likely to fall in December or January, which are, without fail, our busiest weeks of the year.
To make sure you get a day and time that actually suits you, we would ask that you provisionally book your next visit while you are with us in clinic, rather than waiting until you are ready to book closer to the time.
Please also note that we will be open until Friday 18th December, and closed over the festive period until Monday 5th January. Planning a little ahead now means one less thing to think about later.
A Small Note on Seasonal Skincare
As the seasons turn, skin needs tend to shift too. Indoor heating and colder air can leave it drier and duller than in summer, so this is a good moment to revisit your skincare routine with us, hydration and barrier support especially.
