Introducing the ZO Skin Health Facial & Consultation

Introducing the ZO Skin Health Facial & Consultation

Most facials treat the surface. They cleanse, they hydrate, they leave the skin looking better for a day or two — and then things return to where they were. What they rarely do is change anything.

We have introduced something different.

The ZO Skin Health Facial & Consultation is a new treatment at Mulberry House, built around a proper clinical assessment of your skin and a structured protocol using ZO Skin Health's professional product range throughout. It is not a luxury facial. It is a results-focused treatment with a clear purpose: to understand your skin, treat it properly, and leave you with a plan for it.

It is available now, delivered by our ZO Skin Health specialist, and priced at £70.

It begins with a consultation — not a treatment

Before anything is applied to your skin, your ZO Skin Health specialist will spend time understanding it. This is a genuine assessment — not a brief intake form or a cursory look before the treatment begins.

Your skin type and current condition will be evaluated. Your concerns — whether that is acne, congestion, uneven tone, sensitivity, signs of ageing, or something more specific — will be discussed properly. Your existing skincare routine will be reviewed, including what is working and what may be working against you.

From this evaluation, a personalised treatment plan is built around you. The products used in your facial, and those recommended for home use afterwards, are selected specifically for your skin — not drawn from a fixed menu. The consultation is the foundation of everything that follows.

This matters because skin is not one-size-fits-all, and ZO Skin Health is not a range designed to be used that way. It is a medical-grade skincare system developed by Dr Zein Obagi, built on the principle that treating skin properly requires understanding it first. Used correctly, it produces meaningful results. Used incorrectly — or without proper guidance — its actives can be counterproductive. The consultation ensures you leave with the right recommendations for your skin, not a generalised suggestion.

The treatment

The facial follows a structured clinical protocol using ZO Skin Health's professional products throughout — the same range used in Mulberry House's clinical treatments, and the same range stocked in our shop.

It begins with a cleanse using ZO Gentle Cleanser to remove surface impurities and prepare the skin properly for what follows. ZO Exfoliating Polish then refines skin texture and encourages cell renewal — not an aggressive exfoliation, but a considered one that improves both the immediate result and the absorption of subsequent products.

The treatment then moves into a massage and masque stage using ZO Aloe Hydra Massage Gel and Masque. This stage is designed to soothe, calm and deeply hydrate — particularly beneficial for sensitised or reactive skin, but valuable for all skin types as a restorative step within the protocol.

A second cleanse follows using ZO Complexion Renewal Pads, which resurface and refine further — removing residual dead skin cells and preparing the skin for the final protective stage.

The treatment closes with ZO Daily Power Defense and ZO Sunscreen + Primer SPF 30. This step matters more than it might appear to. Daily Power Defense supports ongoing skin renewal and strengthens the skin's resilience against environmental aggressors. The SPF protects the newly treated skin and seals the work of the treatment — extending its effect rather than leaving the skin exposed. Leaving the clinic with protected skin is not a minor detail.

The £20 product credit

If you choose to purchase any ZO Skin Health products recommended during your facial, £20 is deducted from the value of your purchase.

This is worth pausing on. The consultation will give you a clear, personalised skincare recommendation — products chosen specifically for your skin by someone who has just assessed it properly and used them on it. The £20 credit is a natural next step if you want to continue your results at home, and it removes a small but real barrier to doing so.

Most people who invest in a proper skin treatment want to maintain the results. The credit acknowledges that, and makes the transition from facial to daily skincare routine a straightforward one. You will leave with products you know are right for your skin, chosen by someone who has seen it — not selected from a shelf.

Who is this for?

Everyone. That is not a vague answer — it reflects the design of the treatment.

If you are new to ZO Skin Health and curious about whether it is right for you, this is the ideal introduction. You will experience the products properly, understand what they do, and leave with specific recommendations rather than a generalised suggestion.

If you are an existing ZO Skin Health user whose routine has been in place for a while, this is an opportunity to have your skin properly reassessed and your routine reviewed. Skin changes — with age, with seasons, with hormones, with stress — and a routine that was right two years ago may not be optimally right now.

If you have never had a facial at Mulberry House, this is a considered starting point. At £70, it sits at a level that makes it genuinely accessible — and the consultation element means you leave with something of lasting value beyond the treatment itself.

If you are an existing patient thinking about starting a more consistent skincare routine alongside your clinical treatments, this bridges that gap directly.
