In line with the latest guidelines and restrictions, Mulberry House Clinic has been temporarily closed for the first few weeks of 2021.
Dr John Tanqueray shared an update in his latest newsletter:
“A few months’ ago we were hoping for a really positive start to the year, but this new year has been unlike any other. We hope you and loved ones have been keeping well.
“This is our third closure as a result of a lockdown – I must say each time I assumed it would be the last – how wrong was I?
“Although medical services can technically continue, given the level of the current crisis we felt the only responsible action was to close.
“The number of other clinics that didn’t close last time during November and are doing so now speaks for itself.
“Speaking to our medic daughter who is hospital-based there is no doubt that we need to protect each other and avoid doing anything that risks placing extra pressure on our over-burdened health system.
“So what now? Getting the population vaccinated as quickly as possible seems the only way out of this so we’ve both registered to volunteer for the vaccination programme – we’ll see if we are called on.
“Otherwise we are back to the now familiar programme of getting some regular exercise, watching more rugby matches than usual, and using the slower pace of life to fit in some reading and music.”
Skype Consultations
Even though we will not be open for regular appointments, we’re very happy to help and advise our clients on skincare matters remotely.
Dr Tanqueray says:
“In terms of anything we can help with we are here to answer any questions by email, phone or video call, and can also prescribe cosmeceutical skincare remotely.
“If you are interested we can do a Skype consultation and follow-up appointments and post out whatever you need. We can recommend ZO regimes for acne, rosacea, pigmentation and anti-ageing – when used correctly we see great results.”
Please feel free to get in touch if you have any queries or concerns that we could help with. You can use the website enquiry form or send an email to info@mulberryhouseclinic.co.uk and we’ll be in touch.
