Hyaluronic Acid Skin Booster
Juvéderm VOLITE is in a new category of cosmetic injections, known as ‘skin booster’.
The injections are based on hyaluronic acid, just like the rest of the Juvéderm family. But instead of adding volume, they work primarily to improve skin texture and elasticity by helping the skin to retain hydration.
New York plastic surgeon Haideh Hirmand, MD says:
“Injecting skin boosters causes bioremodelling of the skin, activating elastin and collagen production and improving the look of damaged or aged skin.”
Juvéderm VOLITE uses Allergan’s exclusive VYCROSS technology, which combines low and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid in order to improve the cross-linking efficiency of HA chains. In Juvéderm VOLITE, the result is a unique product which aims to improve skin smoothness, hydration and elasticity.
Skin boosters work well on areas of skin that are covered in fine lines. Treatment is suitable not only for the face, but also neck, décolletage and hands.
