Fractional Skin Rejuvenation
Mulberry House Clinic has announced the forthcoming launch of Tixel, an incredibly versatile skin rejuvenation system.
Tixel is based on Thermo-Mechanical Ablation (TMA) technology. This affects targeted skin tissue almost identically to fractional CO₂ and erbium lasers. However, the procedure is less painful and safer than the more aggressive laser-based alternatives.
Compared to other systems, Tixel offers facial and especially eye rejuvenation with greater comfort and less downtime.
3 Treatment Modes
Ablative vs Non-Ablative
- Ablative treatment:
Ablative is the most intensive treatment, which can give effective results on skin tightening and scar treatment. Tixel creates channels in the skin to promote more intensive healing. Results will be similar to deep chemical peel or fractional CO2 laser resurfacing treatment with 2+ days recovery time. - Non-Ablative treatment:
Non-ablative treatment can ultimately give the same skin tightening result as the ablative treatment. It will require more treatments, but being less aggressive, requires no recovery time. Results will be similar to medium chemical peel but without the recovery time. - “Open-Channel” treatment:
Open-channel treatment makes the skin porous in order to allow penetration of topical treatments. This can be used in treatment of skin pigmentation problems such as Melasma or Hyperpigmentation.
