Facial Augmentation Research Results
Juvéderm® VOLUMA is a dermal filler which offers longer-lasting results than ordinary hyaluronic acid fillers, making it a good option for facial augmentation. But how long can the filler be expected to last?
Research by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) has shown that results from Juvéderm® VOLUMA can last for up to a year.
What’s more, the risk of side effects was found to be small, making it an attractive option for patients looking to have dermal fillers for facial rejuvenation or volumising.
The study looked at the experience of 2,342 patients who had facial augmentation treatment with Juvéderm® VOLUMA between February 1, 2009 and October 1, 2014. Half the patients had more than one treatment.
