Introducing the 3-Step Chemical Peel

zo 3 step peelby ZO Medical

Dr John Tanqueray explains the 3-step peel from the ZO Medical range by Dr Obagi. He says it provides the benefits of a deeper chemical peel while limiting the side effects to those of a more superficial peel.

The ZO 3-Step Stimulation Peel is designed for improving the symptoms of acne, melasma, sun damage, fine lines, texture roughness, large pores and general dullness of the skin. The peel also promotes softer and smoother skin.

Suitable for all skin types, the 3-Step Stimulation Peel from ZO Medical is designed to exfoliate the outermost layers of skin, stimulate cellular function in deeper skin layers, and calm and soothe skin for less irritation—all with minimal or no downtime. The in-office peel can be repeated every three to four weeks to treat acne, melasma, sun damage, fine lines, uneven texture, large pores and dullness.

Dr Tanqueray says:

The treatment process itself is fairly straightforward and the side effects afterwards tend to occur maimly between days 3 and 5. This means you can have the peel for example on a Wednesday, carry on with your working week and the peeling itself will occur over the weekend and you’re ready to be back to work on the Monday.

The clever thing with the peel is that the peel itself penetrates to the epidermis and hence side effects are quite small, but the benefits penetrate much deeper.

Results include improvement to the skin in general, speeding up the process of ZO creams and help with acne and pigmentation problems.
