What areas can MyCells be used for?
MyCells can be used to improve skin virtually anywhere on the body. The main areas we treat are around the eyes or mouth, full face, décolletage, neck and hands.

Does my blood have to be sent away to be processed?
No, the sample is taken and treatment given at one appointment.
The MyCells treatment is prepared while you are waiting for the anaesthetic cream to work.

Is anything added to my blood prior to the injections?
We usually add a small amount of local anaesthetic to make the procedure more comfortable, but otherwise nothing extra is added.

How long has this type of treatment been in use?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) has been used for rejuvenation purposes as well as to promote healing in surgery for several years. The MyCells brand relates to the specialised tube that separates the blood components, and this is a more recent innovation.
